Controls for electronic governed engines

footpedal.jpgFoot Pedals and Hand controls

Orscheln Group designs and produces foot pedals and hand vernier controls for the new electronic governed engines in On-road and Off-road applications. Floor mounted foot pedals utilize metal and polymer components to save weight, and use the latest rotary sensors for precise operation.

The hand operated EV2 control uses a linear potentiometer to translate mechanical position to an electrical signal in order to control the engine from a remote location. The EV2 control looks and works similar to the mechanical cable version it replaced, allowing familiar operation to the end user. Foot pedals and the EV2 are available in standard configurations to fit most OEM needs.

Electronic Engine Throttle Controls

Precision signal that interacts with the fuel management system

Orscheln Europe designs and manufactures floor mounted, suspended and semi-suspended throttle pedals for electronic engines. The throttle pedals deliver a precision signal that interacts with the engine's electronic fuel management systems. New generation vehicles are demanding more reliable electronics, lightweight materials and corrosion resistant materials. Long life sensors and moulded polymers are used to provide lightweight and durable performance

We are now able to offer a range of programmable non-contact sensors - please call for more details.

EV2

The EV2 electronic vernier has been designed to provide precise and variable engine speed adjustment on electronically controlled stationary engines, or from a remote operating position on mobile equipment. The large 2.25 inch diameter knob provides continuous engine speed regulation from idle to wide open throttle in seven full turns, providing fine speed adjustment.
